China Tilapia Goes Down

Recently raw tilapia price in Guandong,Guangxi,Hainan decline rapidly, almost lower than costs.Selling price now is $0.48/500g for 350-500g fish, $0.53/500g for 500-800g fish. Some farmers now are holding to sell and waiting for the price goes back. From the current situation, small size fish will be less in the coming month and market demand takes a strong trend before Chinese new year.
