On Feb. 24th reporter learned from CIQ that seafood is our main export products and 90% were exported to EU, the United States, Japan, South Korea, Russia and Vietnam and other countries and regions, and for the foods and agricultural products, foreign registration is the “passport” to enter this country and region. From the last year, Jiangxi company had broke down the USA techinical barries and helped 13 companies got the USA registration, take off the automatic hold, the number of registered companies ranks first in the central provinces, the USA register rate is high.
For our aquatic products export, the automatic hold measures of US FDA is a fatal bolow, some enterprises sometimes even stop production. The products which have been declared “automatic hold” must be verified by the US lab when delivered to the port then released and sell.
It is understood that the company in our province have first got the Vietnam registration, 14 companies got the Russia registration and Jiangxi seafoods have jumped into first place in Russian market. According to statistics, there are 21 seafoods export companies in our province.
